The MSR Hyperflow water filter is a compact and fast backcountry filter pumping over 3 liters per minute. With this high flow rate it is recommended that the user take a proactive approach in backflushing to maximize the filters lifespan. Backflushing is recommended every couple of days for the normal backcountry user.
